got the boots the other day and as soon as I put them on I thought, ah man, here we go break-in time, but not really the case, these boots feel pretty good. I took them out for an a** whippin. The Flash III XCR responded well on rocks, uneven ground, uphill, downhill, loose gravel, climbing, and jumping. At the end of the day I was pleasantly surprised that my feet were not on fire. The rest of my body sucks, but my feet feel fine, considering. Thanks Garmont. Can't wait to see what you guys come up with next. Rick
