Gerber 06 Automatic

This is one of the best knives I've ever owned. I can easily disengage the safety and open it with either hand even with thick, heavy gloves on. The blade is S30V tool steel and I've never had a knife that holds an edge like this. The thing still has zero play in the action even though I've had it almost a year and snapped it open hundreds of times. I just blow it out with the air compressor once a month or so and put a few drops of Militec-1 in the action and it never quits. I've personally used the glass breaker pommel to shatter windshields and put huge dents in metal (at the junkyard). This knife would be an extremely effective defensive weapon even in the closed position — holding it in a closed fist and striking with either end would do serious, painful damage. Personally, I went for the tanto point but honestly I don't think there's any difference between the two. Either way it's a great knife.
