Data encryption is becoming so important that the Executive Office of the President of the United States is recommending all government agencies encrypt all mobile devices and computers (pdf).

IronKey's hardware-encrypted flash drives and online protection services are ideal for companies who want to secure their endpoints and protect their data from leaking into the hands of unauthorized people. Equip your employees, sales people and your best customers and partners with IronKey devices, and enjoy the peace of mind that always-on hardware encryption can bring.

Additionally, you can use IronKeys in conjunction with third party USB endpoint security software to completely lock-down your company's portable storage environment. IronKey flash drives will stand up to the harsh elements and completely protect your valuable data.

Keep your portable data ultra-secure with the IronKey. Thumb drives offer a quick and convenient way to take files with you. Advances in data storage technology allow you to carry many gigabytes of data in a tiny format. This small size, makes thumb drives targets for identity and information thieves who are trying to retrieve personal information such as password files, login names, and many other types of personal data we often forget are stored in our files.

The IronKey was developed with the US Military in mind, and includes a hardware encryption chip that scrambles the data, and unless you have the password, you cannot retrieve it.

Password hackers will be turned away by the IronKey's anti-hacking design. After 10 invalid password attempts, the encryption key will self destruct, making the flash drive totally unreadable. Additionally, the interior of the drive is filled with epoxy, and any attempt to physically removed the chips will likely damage them beyond repair.

Software applications installed on the IronKey offer additional protection for your data. The password manager stores your passwords in a hidden encrypted area of the drive which is not part of the drive's file system.

With IronKey's Secure Sessions Service, your Web communications travel through an encrypted tunnel on the Internet to IronKey's network routing servers and eventually out to your destination website. This approach works just like an instant VPN (virtual private network), but is portable, so you can use it on other computers without having to install and configure complicated software.
