To anyone that carries thier life in a ruck sack this the bag that you need. After picking up the box from my connex, my first thought was 'Where the hell is the sleeping bag?'. I looked at this small box and figured this couldnt' be it; after opening it and bragging how small it is I wondered how it would be in the cold here in the mountains. The first night I slept it was terrific; I stayed warm and toasty all night. Afterwards members of my team started ordering the same bag, I plan on upgrading when the winter months come where I am and know I will not be dispointed.

Without doubt the best bag I have owned so far. Got it about a week or so ago, and it works great. the bag in the hand picture can be a little misleading. yes if you keep cranking down on the outside straps you can get it that small, but the tension seemed a little much for me. even so, it is about 1/4 the size of any other bag I've had without it fully packed! loose dimensions are about 6" diameter cylinder, by about 13" long, but you can crank it down about 5-6" shorter with ease. Its a light bag, but it has been keeping me warm all week. mosquito netting, boot lining at bottom and the back water lining work great. The outside bag cover is even water resistant/proof! I'd recommend it to anyone, its a great bag!

outstanding piece of gear. it is comfortable down to 15 degrees without anything else. it will go lower with just adding a poncho liner, or a issued bivy sack. Plus it makes packing for deployment easier because the pack isnt half full already because of your sleep system.

I just recently got back from a deployment and had this bag its lightweight and easy to pack. Much better than standard issue and keeps you very comfortable in any wheather conditions. I've also used it camping in colorado, this is not a bag for people who want a lot of cushion I'd buy the inflatable pad that comes with it but overall a great product.
