agree to the following return procedures:
Sending Your Package Back To Extreme:
must be accompanied with our Merchandise
return your package insured, track-able and prepaid. We encourage you to
protect yourself from loss or theft by insuring your return and saving the
receipt and tracking information for your records. We will not be responsible
for any items that are lost or damaged in return shipping. Any packages lost or
damaged will be the responsibility of the shipping company that is used.
do NOT use the item's packaging (such as the footwear box) as a means to ship
your item back. Items MUST be sent in a standalone separate shipping box. Items
returned to us using the item's packaging (such as the footwear box) may not be
accepted by Extreme Outfitters.
there is an error with your order and Extreme is at fault, we will cover your
return shipping to us (and shipping back to you in the event you were sent a
wrong size and therefore need an exchange).
and for any other reason, Extreme Outfitters WILL NOT be responsible for return
shipping back to us, or to you in event of an exchange, even if you received
free shipping on your order. Payment information on file will be used unless
to Your Card:
-If there is an error with your order
and Extreme is at fault, we will refund 100% of your total back to your card.
-Otherwise and for any other reason, you
have 2 available options:
refund back to your card with a 20% Restocking Fee charged
a store credit for the full 100% returned will be allotted (you may use that
credit to exchange for a different size of the same item, if applicable)
NOTE: The customer is responsible in all
cases for the payment of shipping to/from us in the event of a warranty defect!
Since we are simply a distributor, and
NOT a manufacturer, the best route in most cases is to contact the manufacturer
directly (Suunto, Rocky, etc.) to verify whether or not they will cover your
warranty claim. Extreme Outfitters CANNOT make a final decision regarding a
customer warranty claim. Extreme Outfitters will attempt to resolve your
defect/product issue, but please keep in mind that in many cases, the customer
MUST contact the manufacturer directly (per and depending on the manufacturer).
In any potential warranty claim, the
customer must contact us BEFORE sending back any product to Extreme Outfitters.
We must have the following:
-Full customer contact information
-Pictures of the defective product
(pictures must show the defective area)
-A detailed description of the defective
product (left or right boot, delamination of the sole, etc.)
-Proof of purchase from Extreme
Outfitters (a Sales Receipt, an Order # reference, etc.)
Sending a product back to us without
authorization from our Warranty Dept. runs a risk to the customer, as the
customer may not have a legitimate warranty claim (and therefore will have to
pay return shipping with an unresolved issue).
